Certification Credits
On completion of the pre-recorded videos, live sessions, and proof of a CSPO certification and 12 months relevant experience, you will be registered with the Scrum Alliance as an Advanced-Certified Scrum Product Owner. Additionally, if you currently hold a certification with the Scrum Alliance, attending this course will automatically advance your previous certification expiration date to the new certification expiration date.

Course Outline
The Product Owner Role
You’ll discuss the product owner role and demonstrate an understanding of how different organizations may affect your approach to this role. You’ll learn advanced techniques for working with stakeholders to gain information about their goals, and communicate progress.
Planning and Strategy
Create a successful product vision and break it into Product Increments that are valuable to stakeholders. You’ll communicate a forecast for your vision and plan a product release.
Customers and Users
Navigate and segment the needs of customers and users (including what to do when those needs conflict). You’ll work on discovery techniques so that the needs of customers and users are clear, leading to successful product outcomes.
Validating Product Assumptions
Learn different approaches to validate product assumptions based on cost and quality of learning.
Working with the Product Backlog
In the advanced course, you build on your knowledge of the product backlog so you can translate backlog items into value for stakeholders. This means knowing which items bring the most value to different stakeholder groups, as well as managing and prioritizing items so that the team is always working to maximize outcome.
